Abstract

A dual band single layered frequency selective surface has been presented in this paper. It has a circular loop connected to a square loop and a cross dipole at the centre. We took Roger 5880 and FR4 as substrate material for analyzing the FSS. This FSS gives shielding in C and X-band, and attenuation up to 39 dB. The proposed FSS could be utilized for different applications for the resonant frequencies at 3.6, 4, 8.2 and 9.6 GHz. Then the FSS has been analyzed and discussed for TE and TM mode. HFSS is used for optimetrics analysis of parameters and all the work in this paper.
