Abstract
In the Seversk Dolomite Combine a prototype of a preheater-economizer for utilization of the heat of the exhaust gases of a rotating kiln for firing of dolomite has been built and placed in service. With a temperature of the exhaust gases at the inlet to the preheater-economizer of 550–600°C and passage through it of 35% of the exhaust gases, it provides drying and heating of the raw material to 250°C.
