Abstract
This paper describes the design of a multiuser development facility for special purpose signal processing applications. The facility is currently based up the TMS 32010 signal processing chip but has designed in such a way that other processors may be easily accommodated. The system is supported by the Unix operating system and includes a crossassembler based on the Unix parser generator “Yacc”. The hardware is compatible with a target system capable of supporting a number of general purpose microprocessors.
