Abstract

The purpose of this research were: 1) to design and development of knowledge management system on mobile devices for higher education, 2) to evaluate knowledge management system on mobile devices for higher education, 3) to evaluate the user opinions who use knowledge management system on mobile devices. The samples were 30 user academic staffs from 3 universities in Thailand by simple random sampling. The research instruments were 1) structured interviews 2) knowledge management system on mobile devices 3) system evaluation form for experts 4) the questionnaire for user opinions 5) the quality evaluation form for approve model. As the research statistics, mean, standard deviation to analyze the data. The results of this research are as follows: The research finding were as follows 1) The design and development of knowledge management system on mobile devices for higher education composed of 9 components: 1) The model consisted of 1) users 2) expert 3) content of education 4) instructional manual 5) mobile application 6) mobile device /tablet PC 7) internet network 8) knowledge management website 9) 6 steps of knowledge management process; content, activities, collaboration, communications, sharing, supporting was approved by the content experts 2) The knowledge management system on mobile devices was evaluated and approved by 5 experts has a quality at the level of high (mean = 4.31, S.D. = 0.44). 3) The users opinions who use knowledge management system on mobile devices was at higher level (mean =4.21, SD =0.39) content (mean = 4.19, S.D = 0.42), design (mean = 4.18, S.D = 0.32), usability (mean = 4.26, S.D = 0.43)
