Abstract

In the present study, the problem of designing controllers for linear discrete-time singular (descriptor) systems under initial state and control constraints is considered. The aim is to eliminate any non-causalities and make the closed-loop system stable, while the state feedback control vector must respect appropriate constraints. The present approach constitutes an extension to the design of constrained linear state feedback controllers for linear regular discrete-time systems.
