Abstract

A descriptive analysis is applied to alternating-current circuits, which is extended to the most complicated subclass of measurement circuits: passive four-armed bridge ones. General relations are derived between parameters of the measurement specimen and those of the bridge circuit, together with synthesis rules for these circuits that inexplicitly incorporate those relations. The results completely formalize synthesizing passive bridge circuits and reduce the treatment to choosing between possibilities.
