Abstract

In this paper the design of quasi-decoupling controllers for discrete-time non-linear plants is addressed using a recently developed Virtual Input Direct Design (VID2) approach. The resulting technique, based on plant Input/Output/State data, carries the controller design into a standard nonlinear identification problem, without calling for the preliminary identification of any model of the plant.
