Abstract
ABSTRACT The main purpose of this paper is to test the effect of culture, at a country level, on digital and mobile payment use. Using panel data regression analysis, the main results indicate that individualism presented a positive effect on both digital and m-payment, and masculinity showed a negative effect on m-payment. Overall, this research highlights the relevance of cultural factors to improve the understanding of digital and mobile payment.
