Abstract
A coumarin-based fluorescent probe for selective detection of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is presented. This ‘off–on’ probe exhibited high selectivity towards H2S in aqueous solution with a detection limit of 30 nM. Notably, because of its dual nucleophilicity, the probe could avoid the interference of thiols and other sulfur containing compounds. A novel coumarin-based, reaction-type fluorescent probe for detection of H2S in aqueous solution was synthesized through a two-step nucleophilic reaction.
