Abstract
Objective To compare the therapeutic efficacy and safety of extended release venlafaxine combined with olanzapine in treatment of major depression disorder.Methods Seventy patients were randomly assigned to therapeutic group(n=35)and control group(n=35)for 8 weeks.Therapeutic group were given extended release venlafaxine combined with olanzapine,and control group were only given extended release venlafaxine.The clinical effect was regularly assessed with HAMD.Results The therapeutic efficacy in extended release venlafaxine combined with olanzapine group was significantly higher than that in control group.Conclusions Extended release venlafaxine combined with olanzapine has better therapeutic efficacy in treatment of major depression disorder.
