Abstract
An integrated receiver decoder (IRD) built-in VCR for digital broadcast recording has been developed. This VCR is based on the D-VHS standard and records digital bit stream data. For this VCR, a one-chip digital signal processing LSI, an interface LSI and digital/analog compatible head were developed.
