This paper provides an overview of the evolution of the Federal Supreme Court's understanding of concentrated constitutional judicial review of budgetary laws, especially by means of a Direct Action of Unconstitutionality (ADI), presenting former precedents that rejected such constitutionality control, up to the present day, with the overcoming of that rejection, demonstrated in several recent Supreme Court's decision on the matter.
