Abstract
The Fifth Annual Travel Review Conference, sponsored by the Travel and Tourism Research Association, U.S. Travel and Tourism Administration, and the U.S. Travel Data Center, was held 4 February 1991, in Washington, DC. It was a particularly signifi cant conference as many speakers not only revieived the 1990 travel trends and statistics to assist planners and marketers in formulating future strategy but, in many cases, they covered future developments, the impact of the Middle East crisis, and the recession. Hot topics of ecotourism and traveler taxes were also covered. Proceedings will be published and can be ordered from Mari Lou Wood, Executive Director, TTRA, P.O.
