Abstract

The factors that influence the adoption of mobile commerce in Kenya are yet to be resolved. Responding to the information gap on m-commerce, this paper conducts an evaluation of some of the commonly accepted factors that affect adoption. Specifically; this study seeks to address the adoption question using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). However, the model has been extended to reflect the coercive factors motivating Kenyans to adopt m-commerce.
