Abstract
Myiasis is a parasitic disease caused by larvae of fly.By searching the reports of myiasis in past decade,a comprehensive analysis on the status of myiasis in China was made.The morbidity of myiasis has reduced owing to the improvement of the environmental condition and economic level,however myiasis is still distributing in various regions of China,the morbidity is high in western and northern areas,and in rural areas.All ages have cases to report,the age distribution at various organ system is different.Eliminating flies and improving sanitation are the main way to prevent myiasis.The most important proof of myiasis diagnosis is finding a larva.
