Abstract

We consider two methods for modeling the temperature field on the working surface of heating plates of presses designed to manufacture rubber products: with the ANSYS system and with the method of finite integral transformations implemented in Mathcad. The efficiency of these methods is evaluated by how well modeling results match experimental data and how much time the modeling takes. We give recommendations for the use of these methods in the design of heating plates in industrial presses.
