The problem of putting a confidence band on a normal cumulative distribution function is considered. The relative merits of three approaches to the problem are explored. These approaches are Kanofsky's method, a modification of this approach involving likelihood ratio estimators and a band based on a Kolmogorov—Smirnov type statistic
