Abstract

A compact ultra-wideband (UWB) patch antenna with enneagon fed by coplanar waveguide (CPW) and two solts with two band-notch charactertics is proposed. The proposed antenna has compact size of ${20}\text{mm} {\times 22}\text{mm}$ . By adding two solts on the radiating patch, the UWB antenna provides band-notch characteristics that the center frequency of the rejected bands at WiMAX (3.3-3.6 GHz) or WLAN (5.15-5.35 GHz and 5.725-5.825 GHz).
