Abstract
In this paper, a compact bandpass filter with substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) triangular cavities is proposed. Using negative coupling technology, a bandpass filter with transmission zero has been designed and fabricated on a single-layer substrate. Adopting three little triangular cavities as basic elements, the resonator filter can be fabricated by the standard printed circuit boards (PCB) process. This structure gives full expression to the advantages of cross-coupling and compact SIW triangular cavity. Not only the compact structure, but also the inverse feedback is the characteristic of the bandpass filter. The cross-coupled technique makes a sharper transition performance at the lower sideband and a great promotion to outband.
