Abstract
Aiming at the problem of whether multi-array passive joint detection can improve the detection performance of sonar, this paper analyzes in detail the relationship between the detection probability, false alarm probability, the input signal-to-noise ratio, and integration time under the condition of single array detection, and then obtains the input signal-to-noise ratio and integration time required to achieve the same detection probability and false alarm probability under different joint detection rules. It is concluded that the multi-array joint detection can reduce the required input signal-to-noise ratio and integration time and provide detection performance, which is verified by simulation experiments.
