Abstract

A 73-year-old woman with permanent atrial fibrillation and several episodes of syncope caused by idiopathic sustained ventricular tachycardia (VT) was implanted with a LUMAX® (ICD 640 VR-T, Biotronik, Germany) single chamber implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) with integrated bipolar lead (dual coil, BIOTRONIK, Linox Smart ProMRI SD 65/16). At implant pacing, threshold was 0.3 mV/0.4 ms, right ventricular lead impedance 541 Ω and R-wave sensing 5.1 mV.
