Abstract
We consider exactly solvable models in quantum mechanics withpotential-energy functions that exhibit exponential dependence on thecoordinate. As particular examples we choose a spherically symmetric well toillustrate the concept of critical strengths, and a barrier in one dimensionto discuss tunnelling.
