Abstract
1. An apparatus and a procedure based on thermal nitrogen desorption have been developed for the determination of the specific surfaces of powders, enabling the lime of a single measurement to be reduced to 30 min. 2. The apparatus and procedure can be recommended for adoption in routine specific surface measurements on metal powders in industrial powder metallurgy processes.
