Abstract

A charged-particle spectrometer consisting of plastic scintillators and multiwire proportional chambers has been built to measure the neutron-induced nuclear reactions at forward laboratory angles. The performance of the apparatus is described in a typical case, the neutron-proton capture differential cross section for 72 MeV neutrons.
