Abstract
Background and Aims: Hypertriglyceridaemia is a rare complication of pegaspargase (Oncaspar) treatment, and is associated with a risk of fatal pancreatitis. We describe the case of a patient undergoing treatment for acute leukemia as per the UKALL 2011 protocol regimen C. With this chemotherapy protocol patients do not undergo baseline testing or routine monitoring of lipids.
