Abstract
A 39-year-old male presented to the orthopaedic OPD with complaints of difficulty in walking since 3 months associated with pain over bilateral heel region. The pain was also associated with intermittent popping sound from bilateral ankle joints. Local examination revealed bilateral loss of Achilles tendon contour along with increased range of dorsiflexion and tenderness. Thompson squeeze test and O’Brien needle test were positive indicating rupture of Achilles tendon.
