Abstract
SARS-CoV-2 infection has frequently been linked to thromboembolic consequences and coagulation abnormalities. A relatively uncommon condition known as hemiretinal artery occlusion (HRAO) is a variation of central retinal artery occlusion (CRAO) in which hypercoagulability is regarded to be a risk factor, particularly in younger patients. The goal of bringing up this case is to increase awareness of the possibility that a hemicentral retinal artery occlusion in a young; otherwise, healthy patient could be a sign of the thromboinflammatory state brought on by SARS-CoV-2 infection.
