Abstract
The paper describes the design considerations behind a MATLAB based tool for design and analysis of adaptive control systems. The data and program structure is explained, focusing on flexibility made available to the control system designer. The tool handles both discrete and continuous time model descriptions. Finally the tool is demonstrated through a small simulation of an adaptive control system. The example shows how to change between different model descriptions and how prior knowledge is easily incorporated (grey box identification).
