Abstract

To optimize resource allocation and reduce the burden of conventional energy, new energy vehicles have been developing rapidly in recent years. However, there are still bottlenecks in the development of new energy vehicles, such as safety concerns, and mileage anxiety. The thermal management of new energy vehicle is not only related to the performance of auto parts but also affect the service life. Given the key issues in the construction of thermal management systems for electric vehicles, conventional thermal management requirements and technologies are sorted in this work. Firstly, the thermal requirements of the battery, crew cabin, and motor drive system are outlined. Secondly, the existing thermal management methods of battery, passenger compartment, and air conditioning system are systematically summarized, and the thermal management control methods of new energy vehicles battery are focused on analysis. Finally, the shortcomings of current research are summarized and a research outlook is carried out, and it is pointed out that low-carbon, integrated and intelligent thermal management technology is the future direction of development.
