Abstract

Second language acquisition is a very complicated process. Learners are influenced by many factors, such as the learners' age, linguistics aptitude, individual differences and psychological factors. This paper analyzed the function of motivation and other psychological factors in SLA with the theory of linguistic psychology. It also emphasized the importance of emotion with the Affective Filter Hypothesis of Krashen. Then made suggestions to help teachers teaching and form learners' interest in the learning process, and enhance the learners' SLA level.
