Abstract
Erikson's theory of adolescents’ ego-identity has been constantly revised and enriched by later scholars. According to the latest dual-cycle model of ego-identity, it is determined that egoidentity crisis for teenagers is mainly the state of diffused diffusion. Based on the two types of identity crisis and combined with existing research, the manifestations, causes and solutions of adolescents’ ego-identity crisis were analyzed. A more in-depth thinking and insight for understanding the conception of adolescents’ ego-identity crisis was provided.
