Abstract

In this paper, a highly linear single ended inductively degenerated Low Noise Amplifier is presented. The LNA is designed to enhance the Noise Figure and Gain. The single ended LNA has 13.67dB gain with noise figure 1.45 dB. The Input Reflection coefficient (S11) obtained is -10.34 dB, the Output Reflection coefficient (S22) of -19.43dB, the total power consumption of LNA is around 33.69 mW, the proposed LNA achieves the best input referred 1dB compression point with Third-Order Input Intercept Point (IIP3) of -10dBm and a PldB of -9.18dBm. The LNA is designed using 0.18µm CMOS Technology. Spectre from cadence is used to design and simulate the LNA, Virtuoso Layout Editor used to obtain LNA layout.
