Abstract
The article analyzes the problem of the influence of the author's strategy of interaction with the readership on the formation of creative individuality on the example of the works of the Belarusian poetess Eugenia Yanishchits and the Russian poetess Olga Sedakova. The relevance of the topic lies in understanding the theoretical problem of the formation of creative individuality in the cultural, aesthetic and socio-ideological contexts of the last century. The purpose of the study is to identify possible ways to reveal creative individuality depending on interaction with official literary institutions, the choice of a reference group and other factors. Based on comparative analysis using the historical-descriptive method, the question of the influence of the field of power on the field of literature is considered from the point of view of the choice of subject matter of works. The distancing of the creative position at the initial stage of literary activity from the generally accepted canon, in this case from the socialist realist canon, and from literary institutions is the main difference between the author’s strategy of the two poetesses in choosing a reference group, which determined the features of the formation of their creative individuality.
