Abstract
Al-Zr-B composite pillared interlayered clay (PILC) was prepared and its catalytic cracking activity for gas oil and effective factors were investigated. Characterization techniques included X-ray diffraction (XRD), BET and infrared (IR) spectroscopy of pyridine adsorbed. The experimental results show that Al-Zr-B-PILC possessed a higher catalytic cracking activity than Al-PILC, Al-B-PILC and Al-Zr-PILC. A proper introduction of zirconium and boron is beneficial to the cracking activity of PILC.
