Abstract
BACKGROUND CONTEXT: The OPLL of cervical spine is the major disease in Japan, so the several surgical procedures was developed in Japan. The procedures were divided into anterior decompression and fusion, and posterior decompression. Laminoplasty is gold standard procedure for OPLL because of the less invasiveness and stable clinical results. But the anterior procedure is an ideal procedure for the spinal cord position. It is difficult to find a comparison study of anterior procedure and posterior procedure.
