Abstract

Recently, high-power density electronic components and devices used in various fields have been highly integrated for miniaturization and weight reduction. Therefore the heat generation and low thermal expansion have become a serious issue for electronic devices that strongly affect their working life, performance, and reliability. In recent years, most researchers have investigated the improvement of the thermal conductivity of polymer matrix containing conductive fillers. Graphene, as a conductive filler, has unique tuned properties such as mechanical properties, thermal stability, electrical and thermal conductivity. Graphene-based polymer composites are expected to have exceptional electrical conductivity and thermal transport properties, making them promising in various practical applications. In this chapter, we will describe the thermal conductivities of graphene-based polymer composites and provide guidance on the fabrication of high thermal conductivity polymer composites.
