Abstract

The flow behavior of suspensions is the subject of a huge amount of literature due to the obvious implications in several biological and industrial applications. The motion of non-Brownian rigid particles suspended in fluids flowing in some kind of geometry depends on several factors such as flow field, suspending liquid rheology, confinement, particle shape and concentration.
