Abstract

The subject of human rights is today one of the most motivated and significant subjects of public international law. This chapter deals with the norms of the Islamic human rights law constituting an inseparable body of Islamic law since its revelation in AD610. Some of the most basic provisions of Islamic human rights law are analysed in individual sections in order to express the importance of the relevant principles of the law and emphasize that the human rights law exists in Islam, although these rights have been strongly violated by many Islamic States. The creation and development of the principles of human rights in the system of international law are basically the result of the criminal events of the Second World War, especially against the Jewish population of Europe. Under the Islamic international human rights law, all human beings are equal before Islamic jurisdiction. Keywords: Islamic international human rights law; Islamic jurisdiction; public international law; second world war
