Abstract
We present a novel four color sub‐pixel active matrix organic light emitting Device (AMOLED) display that uses only three OLED depositions while enabling very high color gamut with greatly reduced power consumption. Achieving 90% of Rec. 2020 color standard, power consumption is reduced by 39% compared to that of a conventional RGB side‐by‐side top emission (TE) pixel architecture.
