Abstract

Sexual minority women and transmasculine youth in the U.S. experience disparities in sexual and reproductive health (SRH) outcomes and service receipt, including increased risk of unintended pregnancy. Limited research in predominantly non-Hispanic White (White) adult populations shows that disclosing one’s sexual orientation or behaviors to one’s healthcare provider (HCP disclosure) is associated with higher rates of HPV vaccination and PAP testing. No studies have evaluated disclosure and receipt of HIV testing or contraceptive services.
