Abstract
Omega-3 fatty acid (n-3 FA) supplementation during pregnancy has been shown to decrease the incidence of SPTB. We previously demonstrated that preincubation with docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) reduces prostaglandin (PG) E-2 production stimulated by IL-1β. The objective of this study was to determine effects of DHA on localization of prostanoid enzyme expression in cultured decidual cells (DC).
