Abstract

This chapter presents a collection of studies focusing on the recycling of rubber waste and plastic waste. The advantages and disadvantages of using recycled rubber waste and recycled plastic waste for composite material preparations are also discussed. According to findings from numerous studies, researchers have incorporated both recycled rubber waste and recycled plastic waste in building and construction applications. In comparison to other forms of recycling methods, the application of utilizing recycled rubber and plastic waste as filler or reinforcing agents for composite material preparations may lead to a more sustainable solution in the future for waste management and environmental conservation.
