Abstract

As cancer cells strongly rely on glycolysis, targeting cancer cell glucose metabolism could be a suitable approach to find novel therapeutic targets. The role of RNA export factors and long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in cancer cell metabolism have not been fully uncovered yet. Therefore, we comprehensively examined the interplay between the RNA export factor paraspeckle-associated protein 1 (PAP1) and the lncRNA NEAT1 in triple negative breast cancer cell metabolism.
