Abstract

A detailed helicopter electromagnetic (HEM) survey with the Scintrex HEM701 system revealed a large number of anomalies in the vicinity of the Woodlawn orebody. Many of these are of considerable size with generally low in-phase to out-of-phase response ratios indicating moderate to poor conductors. It is likely that these anomalies are due to rock types in the area, particularly conductive black shales.
