Abstract
Wide viewing angle and fast gray-to-gray response time are some of the most important requirements for a TV. In the standard LCD mode, Super IPS technology has intrinsic superiority in several aspects required for TV applications.[1] Regardless of this fact, there is need to optimize all general specifications, such as brightness, contrast ratio, color gamut, and so on. We must analyze all specifications in a reasonable manner, based on human perception. Overall, however, there are still areas that need to be improved upon, such as moving picture response time and power consumption.
