Abstract

Psychopathy is an important construct for research and applied usage in forensic context. Rigorous assessment with suitable instruments is imperative for the evolution of research on etiology, risk assessment, prevention, and intervention. Since the construction of the Hare Psychopathic Scale and consequently revised versions, that are consider a reference, there has been an exponential growth in the study of psychopathy and its evaluation instruments. This chapter focus in the psychometric qualities of several instruments that assess the psychopathy and antisocial behavior.
