Abstract
Introduction: The postpartum vulvar hematoma affects 300/1000 births, it is a potentially serious complication, since it evolves quickly, to a tense, compressible and painful mass, it is usually bulky and determines great blood loss in the puerperal woman, leading to postpartum hemorrhage. childbirth. More severe cases can invade the perineum and gluteal region, which may displace the vagina and rectum. Objectives: To report a case of a case of vulvar hematoma in a puerperal woman attended at a maternity hospital in the Western Amazon.
