Abstract

In this paper, we presented a glass Mini‐LED display based on high mobility Ln‐IZO thin film transistor (TFT) panel. The single Mini‐LED display panel has a 240×180RGB pixel array with a pixel pitch of 0.6mm. A new power line structure is adopted to minimize the IR drop of power line to achieve a uniform display. In this Mini‐LED display panel, a high mobility Ln‐IZO TFT is used, which helps to reduce the power of Mini‐LED panel. Both gate IC, source IC and fanout lines are placed at the top of the display, and a three‐sided borderless Mini‐LED display can be realized after border laser cutting. Then 480×540RGB spliced display is achieved by 2×3 three‐sided borderless single panel. At last, a new PWM driving method is introduced, which can simplify drive scheme and achieve a better display image.
