Abstract

Introduction. New numerical positron emission tomography (PET) changes the physical properties of the detection chain [ [1] Miller, Michael, et al. ”Characterization of the vereos digital photon counting PET system.” Journal of Nuclear Medicine 56.supplement 3 (2015): 434-434. Google Scholar ]. We studied the relationship between acquisition time (Tacq) and reconstruction parameters on a VEREOS PET/CT camera. The aim of this study was to find the most appropriate reconstruction parameters to compensate for a modification of acquisition times in clinical settings.
