Abstract

Organic thin‐film transistor (OTFT) devices have been fabricated using a maximum processing temperature of 80°C making them suitable for a range of low‐cost transparent substrates. Charge mobility at transistor channel length (L) of 5 µm is up to 3cm2/Vs making OTFT suitable for a wide range of voltage or current driven display devices on plastic or glass. OTFT driven mini‐LED backlights are demonstrated showing 85,000 nits luminance making OTFT a viable technology for low‐cost HDR displays with high front of screen brightness.
